Design Wild works with community groups, city agencies, design teams, and businesses to create and build green spaces in communities across the region. Firmly rooted in community organizing and participatory design principles, we believe that connecting people to the natural world begins by listening and learning. We seek to facilitate projects where people can design, build and share the responsibility of caring for new wild spaces.
This summer our new garden, at Artspace PS109, has attracted a praying mantis, dozens of honey bees, a variety of butterflies and the smiles of our community. It was an extreme joy and blessing to work with Design Wild!
